I did a little updating to my beauty routine… to be more ingredient-conscious.

Let’s talk makeup lovely readers! I love a good beauty product… through the years I have trialed a ton of different brands in search of the perfect foundation, eyeliner, highlighter, lip gloss + more.  I will rarely stray from my tried + true products, while others are always up for negotiation. Similarly, I’ve had a growing interest in the products I bring into my home since having cohen. I want to eat quality ingredients + also make sure the products that touch our skin are as natural as possible. One of the many reasons I’ve started to buy organic, most of the time. So, when sprouts farmers market reached out last month about an influencer night they were hosting with natural cosmetic brand, mineral fusion, I was more than interested in attending.

The event was fabulous and so informative. A group of denver bloggers met up at the kitchen denver for a night of makeup demos + delicious bites. We each got a one-on-one session with a makeup artist to discuss the products. The best part… the personalized makeup application, based upon what works with our complexions. Without having previous knowledge of the brand, I really wanted to learn how mineral fusion differs from their competitors. All mineral fusion products are made in the USA and are free of gluten, parabens, talc, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, SLS and phthalates. Knowing that this denver-based brand is so committed to producing a quality product that consumers can feel good about using, is definitely something I can get behind.

Sprouts provided each blogger with a bag of mineral fusion makeup to take home. Since then, I have been incorporating these products into my daily beauty routine. I am a huge fan of their bronzer; it gives a sun-kissed glow that instantly warms up the skin. I am a stickler about products that can hold up to an 8-hour day and so far, I have not been disappointed. Additionally, their sheer moisture lip tint is another favorite. They are comparable to the popular chubby sticks + come in nearly a dozen colors but are environmentally friendly + good for you. Confidence comes from the inside out but a little makeup can do wonders for my mood. Since I have updated a couple of my beauty products to be more ingredient-conscious, I also feel better about what I am exposing my skin to on a daily basis.

A huge thank you to sprouts + mineral fusion. They both informed + taught me about simple beauty swaps that can make a huge difference. Almost every product from the mineral fusion line is available in-store at sprouts too. Go check them out and try out their awesome products.
