Just as I shared last friday, I’m taking a moment to reflect on all that I am grateful for.

Thankful

[thangk-fuh]

adjective

feeling or expressing gratitude; appreciative

grandparents. the endless support, advice, affection, laughter + love provided by grandparents is so important. Watching my kids interact with their grandparents + great-grandparents is priceless and I don’t know what ryan + I would do without them.

date nights. while they come less frequent these days, I am beyond grateful for the moments we are able to sneak away to reconnect as a couple. Simply enjoying a meal without interruption or having a conversation where you don’t lose your train of thought, I value + hold those date nights close to my heart.

our home. the walls we live inside are filled with laughter, love + the people who mean the most to me. Some days our house feels like it is bursting at the seams but the memories built inside overshadow the space constraints.

honesty. sometimes it is hard to say the tough stuff or put your feelings out on the table. Yet, being open + honest is a vulnerability that leads to connection + understanding.

dvr. play, pause, rewind. Vegging out on the couch is a great way to unwind. However, with 2 little ones + a lot going on, sometimes getting through a show is a bit difficult. Being able to record + tune in on ‘our time’ is a bit of technology I 100% support.

We love this idea. All about using this holiday season for what it’s really about — giving thanks! Thanks for the inspiration.
