My beauty routine has been rocked big time by some new-to-me beauty products. For the first time in years, I have walked away from a few key beauty products that I have been loyal to with diligence… a tinted moisturizer for warm weather, liquid foundation in the winter, this face lotion and a big bottle of moisturizing body lotion. I know, these items don’t seem crazy or even a big deal but for a girl who often operates with the mentality of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’… this change was major.

aveeno positively radiant moisturizer: I have wanted a product that offered sun protection combined in a daily moisturizer forever and I finally found one that is crazy affordable and of great quality. My skin tone looks really even + radiant and I love knowing that my face is protected with spf everyday.

bareMinerals original foundation: after being in total awe of my girlfriend ashley’s skin while in cabo a couple weeks ago, I asked her what products she was using and then begged to try it out. I loved the natural coverage it gave while feeling light on my skin. Added bonus… the minerals give my skin incredible luminosity but not shine. I have never used a powder foundation before but I might have been converted forever.

bareMinerals beautiful finish brush: when I went to the beauty counter to buy my foundation, the makeup artist applied it with this brush. It’s design works perfectly with loose powder to deliver fast, even, controlled coverage in mere minutes. I have a couple other makeup brushes that I tried out prior to purchasing this one but they did not distribute the makeup anywhere similar to this brush.

aveda botanical kinetics hydrating soft cream: the creaminess of this product gives the added moisture my skin needs in denver’s high elevation. This product is made with natural ingredients to promote skin cell stimulation while also being, dermatologist-tested, non-acnegenic and environmental conscious. I use this every night after I wash my face.

jergens wet skin moisturizer: you have probably seen this commercial and just like me, were skeptical at the results. I decided to give it a try and have been loving it. While it is a bit more expensive than my normal bottle of body lotion, the time-saving formula allows you to slather on the lotion while your skin is still wet. My skin feels soft but not sticky and by the time I get done brushing my teeth, the lotion is dry so I can get dressed.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something which I think I would
never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad
for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang
    of it!
