I am full-steam-ahead with all things fall. My evenings have started to include big cups of tea + cozy sweatshirts. Additionally, our calendar is filling up with seasonal activities. I have started to shift my wardrobe to incorporate more layered pieces + jewel tones + booties too. If you have not checked out my food, fall fashion + fab’rik post yet, you need to because it has some great seasonal pieces, available now.

Likewise, I am starting to switch up my home décor, inspired by this glorious time of year. I pulled out a couple items this weekend… a ‘give thanks’ metal + leather sign, some faux pumpkins (that my friend laurie gifted me last year) and a couple knit throw pillows. However, I cannot wait for ryan to dig out my big halloween/fall boxes from the utility closet. I always love to decorate my front porch, along with swapping out some of the accessories inside.

In previous years, my decorations have gone more towards spooky + moody, very halloween. However, this year I think I want to take inspiration from the holiday and be a little bit less thematic with my décor. I’m thinking big corn stalks, gords + hay bales for outside. Inside I want to mix textures with neutrals, chunky throws, wood, candles, metal accents + of course some pumpkins into my home.

Below are 2 inspiration boards for my ideal fall home décor. What do you think? How do you decorate for the seasons?
