This is the greatest show!
If you have yet to see the vibrant musical, the greatest showman, you are missing out. It is a beautiful story about acceptance that resonates with both kids + adults.
My children, especially my son, were obsessed with the music from the opening scene. ‘The greatest snowman’ has been a constant in our home every since he saw the movie a couple months ago at his counsin’s house.
Cohen got extremely creative weeks ago, grabbing his santa jacket + a glittery baton to mimic the look of p.t. barnum, the main character. Through his imagination, cohen saw himself transformed into the movie’s ringleader. With just one look to my husband + we knew what cohen should be for halloween.
Our ringmaster’s costume arrived in the mail almost 2 weeks before halloween. Yet it has already gotten plenty of use. Cohen has been wearing it constantly while dancing + singing around the house.
We found it only fitting to give our ‘greatest snowman’ a lion to tame. Blake is a little lioness this year… while difficult to tame, she is about as cute as they come.
I was a little nervous if she would be into wearing the hat ‘lion mane’ that came with the costume. Fret not… ryan came to the rescue. Her furry hat became instant fun when coupled with a bit of growling with her daddy.
We attended a pre-halloween party at ryan’s work last week which is where a couple of these pictures are from. Ryan was buzz lightyear which all the kids loved. Cohen + blake quickly picked up on trick-o-treating too. They proudly walked around the office collecting as many candies as they could.
Today, the kids also have a parade at school. I cannot wait to see my little loves dressed up with their friends. We will then head to my inlaws’ house for trick-o-treating.
Happy halloween! Stay safe + have fun!
