One of the best parts of my maternity leave has been the unbelievable late-summer and early-fall weather. I have been taking full advantage since cohen was about 2 weeks old to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather we have been graced with.
From early morning strolls through the parks by our house to hauls over to a coffee shop about a mile away, I have been getting out at least a few times a week on a walk with cohen and rocco. Somedays I will take the stroller so cohen can enjoy the vibrations and bounces but other days I strap him into my baby bjorn so he can fall asleep next to my heart. Rocco is a bit scared of the stroller so he likes when we leave that sucker at home which probably makes for a better walk in his perspective.
The best part of my walks over the past few weeks, besides being with my 2 boys, has been seeing all the green trees turn to shades of gold, red, orange and rust as the leaves change. Watching the leaves dance from the trees to the ground as they fall and hearing them crunch underfoot puts a smile on my face instantaneously. I don’t feel like any of my iphone pictures can truly capture how beautiful this time of year truly is but I still cannot help but taking snaps on a near-daily basis.
