An adorable + simple valentine’s day card, with our favorite sweet… suckers! Cohen is going to love sharing these with his friends at school next week.
I still remember how my teachers made valentine’s day such a fun celebration when I was in school. We got to decorate an old shoe box + turn it into a masterpiece, perfect for collecting cards. There were yummy snacks + our classroom got transformed into an endless sea of crafts in colors of pink, purple + red. So of course, I love that cohen’s daycare also shares the same mentality when it comes to valentine’s day.
Cohen has been coming home with paint under his nails + stories about the projects he has been working on each day. I absolutely love his excitement about arts + crafts! Additionally, we brought in a shoe box for him to decorate, just as I did when I was a child. Last year cohen helped me color cute little cards for all of his friends. He got all dressed up that morning to hand them out too. It was adorable! I wanted to incorporate a sweet treat for this years’ cards so I headed to pinterest for some inspiration.
In our house, suckers are a very big deal. Cohen loves ‘sockets’ so as soon as I saw this adorable valentine’s day card from fun squared, I knew it was the winner. There is a free printable too which makes this about the easiest craft project under the sun.
